Equipment (not accessories) can be modified to alter their properties or grant other bonuses. Any piece of equipment may only have 1 modification done to it. Many modifications can also be made into accessories. Modifications are usually expensive and may even require a master craftsman (5 ranks in the appropriate Crafting skill) to make. Modifications listed as stackable have cumulative bonuses from similar modifications on other pieces of Equipment.
Attribute bonus: 500g an accessory or modification made by a master scribe. Increases STR, DEX, INT, or MOB by 1 while worn. Unique for each attribute.
Bayonette: Small: 25g. A modification for a ranged weapon made by a blacksmith, gunsmith, or fletcher. Primary or Secondary Action: Close ranged mellee attack, 1 weapon dice + STR.
Bayonette: Large: 150g. A modification for a ranged weapon made by a blacksmith, gunsmith, or fletcher. Primary or Secondary Action: Close ranged mellee attack, 2 weapon dice + STR.
Enhanced armour: a modification for body armour and shields made by a master blacksmith. Turn an ordinary body armour or shield into an epic one, adding 1 defense dice. Cost is 100g per base Defense of the armour or shield.
Enhanced weapon: master blacksmith. Turn an ordinary weapon into an epic weapon. Add 1 weapon dice. Cost is 100g per base weapon dice of the weapon.
Life battery: cost: 100g accessory or modification made by scribe. Increases max HP by 1 while worn. Stackable.
Long handle: a modification for a mellee weapon made by blacksmith or woodworker. modify a mellee weapon, making it usable as a 2 handed weapon and increasing the range from close to reach. Cost:

+50g 3 weapon dice
+100g 5 weapon dice
Mana Battery: cost: 100g an accessory or modification made by scribe: adds +1 to max MP while equipped. Stackable.
Scope: 250g a modification for a bow, crossbow, or gun made by fletcher. Allows use of Aimed Shot ability. If the user already has this ability, he may make an aimed shot as a primary action instead of a full turn action.
Spell storage: cost: same as spell book. An accessory or modification made by a scribe. This item stores a magic spell that may be cast by the user, using his own MP and INT. Requires basic Arcana ability to use.
Spikes: 150g, black smithing equip as accessory or modify any piece of armour. Add 1 attack dice to slam attacks. Wearing multiple pieces of spiked equipment doesn't stack this bonus, but it does look exceptionally bad ass.
Warding: 100g, scribe magic runes engraved on equipment or accessories increase resistance +1. Stackable.
